I also posted on the NAVT board but am also posting here since there are so many knowledgeable people here. I need to date this tapestry some how. It depicts a pair of moose as you can see and looks like the fringe is hand tied. Not thinking it is older than the 50s because of the estate I got it from. This was not in the house and was rolled up with some 60s fabric in a covered area. She was married in the 50s and looked to be about 70-75 yrs. old. It isn't thick like a rug. Maybe the photos can give some clues for you. It measures 68 x 24.5 not including the fringe.Back of tapestryThanks! Linda
