This dress almost had me dancing in public today. LOL. Best find of the day! According to the VFG and a couple other things I found, this label is 40s, but I'm not sure I've ever seen a 40s dress like this. I haven't done a burn test, feels like it might be rayon and has a heavy drape. It buttons up the back with small fabric covered buttons and hooks and eyes, no other closures. Can anyone help with a date confirmation? I think I've just been staring at it for too long. Pictures in the next post, and I apologize for the quick and dirty images.
