Hello. I recently acquired an interesting Wedgwood jasper medallion. From my research it appears to be late 18th century, but I'm confused by the impressed marks on the back which look like this: WEDGWOOD O ENGLAND Everything that I've found online says that England was only added on later pieces. Does anyone know if the word "England" was ever included prior to 1891?
