Grace Hand Quilting Frames

If you are like me, you like to hand quilt, but didn't have the room for the "normal" quilt frame. I never did like the hoop frame either, but that is what fit in my house. Then I purchased a Grace quilting frame. It takes up so much less space that many people find it hard to believe that I can quilt king size quilts in my small house. All you need is the width of the quilt and about 4 feet deep space. It can go from crib size to king size by changing the rods. When not in use, but with a quilt in it, it folds to less than 2 feet wide. When I don't have a quilt on it (like that ever happens) it can be easily disassembled and stored in the closet. The other thing that I absolutely love about the Grace frame, is the ease of the quilt sandwich assembly - YOU DON'T!! The backing goes on one rod, the batting on another and the top on the third rod. The quilt assembles itself as you quilt. No more pinning, basting and fighting assembly. Prices are a little higher than PVC pipe frames and hoops, however the frame is solid wood and with proper care, should out last most quilters.
