The Philadelphia Set - What is it?

The Philadelphia Set (1993)
Many people email us with questions about the Philadelphia Set and what coins are included in the packaging.
The Philadelphia Set was minted in 1993 to gememorate the coins in this set all being minted at the Philadelphia Mint. In 1993, for the first time, the three gold fractional coins (one-half ounce $25, one-quarter ounce $10, and one-tenth ounce $5) and the silver once ounce coin were all minted at the Philadelphia Mint and bore the P mint mark.
From 1986-1992, the silver one ounce coin was minted at the San Francisco Mint. In 1994 the three gold fractional coins (listed above) were scheduled to be minted at the West Point Mint.
This set also included the Philadelphia Bicentennial Medal. This was a silver medal in proof condition produced at the Philadelphia Mint specifically for The Philadelphia Set. The Philadelphia medal was a modification of the Mints U.S. Mint Bicentennial Medal 1792-1992, and was struck to recognize the 200th anniversary of the striking of the first official regular issue U.S. Coins produced for general circulation by the Philadelphia Mint.
Below you can see a picture of the Bicentennial Medal included with this set.
