Bernina is not making motors or any parts for the 800 series (includes the 830 and 801) 900 series (includes the 930), 1230 and the 1130. They are household Bernina's. Please know this before you buy. They are great machines and I own3 of them,but Bernina is not making any parts or motors for these machines.Japan is making the replacement motors for them.
Bernina's I feel is one of the best out there. However some sellers will list them as industrial machines. There is only one industrial Bernina now the 950 is it. It is a true industrial machine.
Also look at Janome better warrantee 25 years and a bettervalue.Have you ever noticed Bernina dealers don't sell Janome.Bernina use to have a great warrantee now it's 1 year for new machines and your paying premium prices with a 1 year warrantee.
