REAL vs FAKE Juicy Couture Parfum Perfume 3.4oz

I thought I'd share my experience with fake Juicy Couture Parfum 3.4oz bottles on okay. Scent:FAKE Juicy Parfum has a chemical smell to it. It feels oily/greasy and does not have a strong scent. The scent fades in minutes after you put it on. REAL Juicy Parfum has a dry feeling (because of the alcohol) and has a strong distinct floral smell that fades into a sweet sugary smell and stays fragrant up to 8 hours.Bottle:FAKE Juicy Parfum has a plastic silver part to the cap. When you take the cap off, the inside is white. The gem on top is also a little shorter on the fakes at 1.25". The metal Juicy Yorkie crest is poorly glued down (mine popped off the day I got it). Also you may be able to see glue around the edges of the metal crest on front. If there is a sticker on the bottom of the bottle, it will peel off and leave gluey residue behind on the bottle. If your bottle is leaking on arrival, IT IS PROBABLY FAKE! REAL Juicy Parfum has a metal silver part on the cap, NOT PLASTIC. The gem is 1.5" tall. The metal Juicy crest on the front is firmly set and clean with no tarnishing or visible glue! When you open the top cap, the inside should be silver plastic. Left is fake Right is real. Notice the cap size difference. Necklace:FAKE Juicy Parfum has a necklace around the cap with a crown charm that has DARK BROWN paint in the creases. The "J" charm is a bright silver with crystals that have been sloppily set. (My fake bottle didn't gee with a safety pin charm, if yours didn't gee with one, it is probably fake!) The brown rope/ string of the necklace is cheap looking and not tightly woven and you can see glue on the tips where the clasp is attached. REAL Juicy Parfum has a necklace with a crown charm that has LIGHT BROWN staining in the creases. The "J" charm should be silver with a dark stain over it and crystals carefully placed. There SHOULD be a safety pin charm as well. There should be NO glue where the clasp is attached. All of these images here are of REAL necklace charms. Box:FAKE Juicy Parfum has black edges on the box. The crest on the box is puffed up and has a rigid texture when you run your finger over it. The front reads: 3.4FL OZ LIQ/ 100mLe.The box paper is smooth with no texture. (The back of my fake juicy box has the story of Pam and Gela while my real one did not. I'm not sure if this is a true sign of a fake, but keep this in mind). Last ingredients read RED 4 (Ci14700) etc. (real boxes say Ci14700/RED 4)"Flammable" on the back is only given in two languages. There is a 24M with a picture of a container on the bottom to the right of the bar code. All text on the box is black. REAL Juicy Parfum boxes have obviously brown edges. The crest is puffed slightly but smooth when you run your finger over it with only a little texture. The front should say: 100 mL e3.4FL. Oz. Liq.The box paper has tiny pores all over it when you hold it to the light and look closely and very slightly textured. "Flammable" is given in 5 languages on the back of the box. The bottom of the box should have a recycle sign on the right of the bar code. All text on the box should be obviously brown. REAL FAKE REAL FAKESide by side the left one is real, the right is fake! REAL FAKEInside of the box where the cap is "hugged" should have a larger opening to hug the cap on the real ones. The fake ones have a smaller and simpler shape. The LEFT IS FAKE and the right is REAL. Notice the larger opening on the real box? The fake one is smaller and has a simpler shape. I really hope this helps! I couldn't find any guides on Real vs Fake Juicy Parfum when I bought mine and it ended up costing me quite a bit of money when I could have just gone to the store and paid a little more for the real thing! Don't be fooled! Remember to ask sellers for pictures of these things. Don't chance it if they won't work with you. My fake Parfum came from New York so location isn't always the way to tell if your item is fake. If someone is selling large quantities of perfume I wouldn't take the chance. If they are rude or don't answer your questions, don't chance it!
